Bio

I picked up my first guitar when I was four or five trying hard to be like my Dad. My mom still has a picture of it. A guitar has never been very far from my reach since then. Growing up the second of five children I discovered the emotional ups and downs of life on my own, dealing with them in a variety of ways and finding the guitar to be my best friend. At fourteen in search of self expression I picked up a pen to write my first song. I continued to write, drawing on life experience, copping and dealing with problems using a pen and chords. Over the years my lyrics have grown more exacting and honest while the sound has gotten more unique and original.

My first EP, “Beneath a Tree”, has been a launch pad to a career writing and performing. I now spend most of my time with a guitar in my hand and a pen in the other.
